We’ll work closely with you from start to finish to perfectly align your goals to stay within your budget.
Where the Magic Begins
When you contact Enchanted Kitchens to schedule your initial meeting, we suggest you begin preparing by gathering inspiration ideas — the more ideas and images, the better. We’ve seen inspiration of all kinds from social media posts, magazine clippings, personal photos, designs sites and more! The truth is, inspiration can be found anywhere, in anything. You’re always welcome to visit our Experience Center and see examples in-person.
We ask that you complete the design questionnaire in advance that will help our designers understand your vision and bring it to life.
Not sure what you should be looking at for inspiration? Consider these main kitchen elements first:
Cabinetry design and color
Countertop material (i.e. stone countertops including quartz, granite, marble, or affordable options like concrete, engineered stone, tile, stainless steel, etc.)
Backsplash
Cabinet fixtures
Sink styles
Bath and/or kitchen lighting design Â
Initial Meeting
Now that you’ve had time to gather your kitchen design ideas and find inspiration, you’ll schedule your first meeting with one of our professional designers. During this phase, we’ll focus on dividing your needs from your wants which will help us stay on track moving forward. Keep an open mind, because our designers will provide ideas to you that you may not have thought of before — that’s the best part about working with us for your bathroom or kitchen redesign project. The designers at Enchanted Kitchens have the experience and knowledge to open your eyes and introduce new ideas that could be more practical for the intentions of the space.
Set A Budget
In order to properly execute your remodeling project and choose materials, we will work with you to determine an appropriate design budget based on your design wants and needs. Setting a budget may not be the most enjoyable part of the process but it is necessary.
The first step is to decide how much you want (and can) spend — and stick to it. An average upscale luxury kitchen remodel can be anywhere around $80,000, but that doesn’t mean that’s how much it will cost for your specific project. We suggest you take a closer look at your finances to determine the highest price point you’re able to spend, as well as a minimum price point that will include your needs. Our designers will prepare a budget breakdown of what your project could cost to help you grasp how much you’ll end up spending.
An additional factor to consider while you determine your budget is how long you plan to stay in your house. If you plan to sell your home and move within the next five years, this renovation should be looked at as a real estate improvement to increase the value of your home. Basically, you won’t need to get carried away with the custom features that a could potentially discourage buyers.
After you’ve factored in the details for your budget, we’ll be able to move forward once a design agreement is signed — then the fun can really begin!
Conceptual Design
The fourth phase of the design process is the introduction to what you’ve waiting for all along! We create a room layout based on the dimensions of the space we’ll be working in, a plan for room space, choose appliances (if applicable), and finalize the overall design/function. It’s important that you are open and clear about your vision during this phase, because the remaining aspects of the project are highly dependent on the conceptual design.
Product Selection
The product selection phase is where your Pinterest surfing will pay off. With the help of our design team, you’ll select cabinet doors, drawer styles, fixtures, colors and finishes. When you visit our award-winning Experience Center, you’ll have the opportunity to see different styles, colors, and finishes in person to help you finalize your decision. When you have the chance to put items side-by-side, you might be surprised with your final product choices simply because you had the chance to see everything in person.
Review
Now that you’ve made your product selection and established a design layout, it’s time to make your dream space a reality! We’ll review everything with you on paper to confirm that we have the details accurate to ensure the appropriate items are ordered and within budget. During this phase is when we will compose the contract and collect the deposit. Once this is complete, we’ll schedule the deliveries and the renovation will begin!
Delivery and Installation
Let the work begin! Our clients have the option to use our installation crew or hire their preferred team. From this point, you’ll be living through a renovation which can be stressful if you are not prepared. Be sure to check out our tips to surviving your renovation project!
Where Dreams Become Reality
The final phase in the design process is to embrace your newly renovated space! Despite all of your contribution and hands-on design planning, product selection, and living through the renovation, revealing the final product is bittersweet yet it is the best part of the design process.
Your newly renovated kitchen or bathroom will be a project you’ll want to show off at every opportunity you have. At the end of the day, it’s our clients’ visions that inspire us to create beautiful designs for homeowners throughout Denver.
